Sleepy Time

It's generally not advisable to take flash photos of your child while they're asleep. But I couldn't pass this shot up, and she didn't even wake up!

Eva's got all her friends accounted for here. You can see bits of her Winnie the Pooh toy, Snowflake the dog, Wally the whale, and her lamb-shaped pillow.

Not pictured: all the covers kicked off immediately after getting tucked in.

The One Where Chandler Doesn't Like Dogs

"Regular celery!"

"...Four well-educated adults and Joey..."

"Uh, Magellan."

"...This is all a moo point."
"A moo point?"
"Yeah, it's like a cow's opinion. It just doesn't matter. It's moo."

"She came all the way back from Ross' apartment. Oh the things she must have seen!"

"Behold the new champion of Chandler's stupid states game."
"How many you got?"
"56!"

Post Thanksgiving Recovery

Full belly and asleep at noon. That's the sign of a good Thanksgiving the day before. I hope you all had a good one too, and am thankful that you read this site.

She Likes It!

Every day the clowns get a little braver as they inch towards making the sebae their home. Today Sheila was playing in the tentacles during the daytime, and then when the lights went out, both she and Leonard really started to dig in and snuggle. For the camera, Leonard was being shy. But Sheila had no qualms about showing off her new house.

That's Two Friday Nights in a Row, People!

Popa John and cousins Trevor and Kelsey came to visit us and Nana yesterday. We had a ton of fun catching up before heading out for dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory. John flexed his persuasion muscles and scored us all sorts of extras. It was a sight to behold.

Aunt Donna is scheduled to arrive on Sunday, so we are planning on a visit in to L.A. to see her sometime over the Thanksgiving weekend. Should we pull off making it out there on Friday, that would be three straight Fridays out of the house for us. You better recognize!

Say Anything

I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.

Flirty Clowns

After the success of the mushroom corals, I made the big step of trying another anemone. This one is a large sebae anemone. I haven't owned one of these since Redlands. At the time I had a cool Clarki clownfish that hosted it for quite a while. As expected, Leonard and Sheila didn't take to it straight away. And thankfully Fanta felt the same apathy. But just this evening Jessy pointed out that the clowns were getting pretty close. I watched them for a while as they backed their tails into it, made territorial gestures towards Fanta and Ellen when they approached, and generally got me excited about the possibility of having clowns hosted by an anemone for the first time in a few months. There's nothing terribly exiting in the video above, for the average viewer that is. For me, it's all kinds of thrilling as the clowns flirt with settling in to a new home.

Edit: I've updated the video with one from youtube so that the quality is a little better. You can see the HD version on youtube if you're interested.
